About Us
Piejam is a growing custom printing company specializing in high-quality Direct-to-Film (DTF) transfers for clothing brands, print shops, businesses, organizations, and creators across the United States.
Piejam operates alongside its sister company, Oversize DTG, a custom apparel production company specializing in DTG printing, embroidery, and fulfillment.
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Direct to Film Operator to assist with the production of DTF transfers and help maintain an efficient, organized production environment.
Position Overview
The Direct to Film Operator is responsible for operating DTF printing equipment, preparing orders for production, monitoring print quality, and completing orders accurately and efficiently.
This is a hands-on production position that requires attention to detail, consistency, and organization.
No previous DTF printing experience is required. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor DTF printing equipment
- Prepare orders and print files for production
- Load film and maintain proper printer setup
- Monitor prints for quality and production issues
- Apply DTF powder and operate curing equipment
- Cut, organize, and prepare completed transfers
- Review orders for correct artwork, quantity, and sizing
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment
- Keep the production area clean and organized
- Track production progress and completed orders
- Package completed transfers for pickup or shipping
- Receive and organize production materials and supplies
- Assist with other production tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Dependable and punctual
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable using a computer and learning new equipment
- Able to follow instructions and work independently after training
- Willing to learn — no DTF printing experience required
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift and carry boxes up to 50 pounds
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform general production tasks
Preferred Experience
Previous experience in printing, production, fulfillment, warehouse, or similar environments is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- Minimum 20 hours per week
- Additional hours may be available based on performance and production needs
- Consistent availability is preferred
