Job Summary
The Supply Chain Coordinator provides critical operational and administrative support to the Director of Supply Chain Operations. This role is responsible for coordinating material availability, managing supplier return authorizations (RMAs), supporting customer delivery requirements, and maintaining reporting tools that help ensure on-time fulfillment of customer commitments. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of building effective relationships with both suppliers and customers while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
• Experience working directly with customers in a professional environment.
• Ability to communicate firmly and professionally with suppliers and customers.
• Demonstrated ability to identify situations requiring persistence, negotiation, and escalation to achieve business objectives.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. Material Management and Supply Chain Coordination
• Review supplier delivery date changes and perform comprehensive material pegging against the manufacturing schedule to determine potential impacts.
• Collaborate closely with the Expeditor to obtain and validate supplier delivery information.
• Communicate material shortages, delays, and schedule risks to Manufacturing and other internal stakeholders.
• Generate and monitor expedite reports to ensure material availability aligns with production requirements and supports on-time customer deliveries.
• Proactively identify supply chain risks and escalate concerns as needed.
2. Supplier Return Material Authorizations (RMAs)
• Support the Director of Supply Chain Operations and Logistics Manager in obtaining RMAs from suppliers.
• Track and communicate RMA status updates to internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with the Accounting team to ensure supplier credits are processed and closed accurately.
• Maintain organized records and documentation related to supplier returns and credits.
3. Customer Support and Order Management
• Manage customer-supplied material programs and related requirements.
• Serve as a liaison between customers and internal departments regarding delivery schedules and order status updates.
• Participate in customer meetings and conference calls to provide updates on open orders, priorities, and delivery commitments.
• Communicate customer feedback, concerns, and requests to appropriate internal stakeholders.
• Partner with the Expeditor to develop and maintain shortage reports for key customer programs.
• Distribute weekly shortage reports and communicate potential delivery risks to internal teams.
4. Training and Professional Development
• Cross-train on Expeditor responsibilities to provide backup support when needed.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of purchased materials and supplier capabilities.
• Learn to interpret and analyze custom material drawings and specifications.
• Gain knowledge of required outside processing and manufacturing requirements to support sourcing and planning activities.

• Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
• Compensation ranges depending on experience
