Lael’s International Auto Service is a family-owned, independent automotive repair shop serving Oceanside and North County San Diego for over 20 years. We specialize in European vehicles, including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and Volkswagen, while servicing all makes and models.
We are looking for an experienced Master Automotive Technician who can independently diagnose complex problems, perform quality repairs, and take pride in getting the job done right the first time.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles
- Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues
- Work with professional diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and wiring diagrams
- Perform engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, HVAC, and other major repairs
- Diagnose and repair BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, and other European vehicles
- Perform thorough vehicle inspections and Digital Vehicle Inspections
- Verify repairs and maintain high standards of workmanship
- Assist other technicians with difficult diagnostic issues when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience; 8+ preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong understanding of modern vehicle systems and electronics
- Professional-quality hand tools
- Valid California driver's license
- ASE certifications
- European vehicle experience strongly preferred
- BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, or Volkswagen experience a plus
