Unarmed Security Officer | 4-Day Overnight Position
Southwest Patrol – San Bernardino & Riverside
Southwest Patrol is currently seeking a dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officer for a permanent four-day overnight assignment, Friday through Monday, covering two Inland Empire locations.
IMPORTANT: This position is offered as one complete 4-day assignment. The shifts cannot be split. Applicants must be available to work ALL FOUR DAYS — Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday — to be considered.
Schedule
Friday & Saturday – San Bernardino
8:45 PM – 5:15 AM
Industrial property patrol assignment.
Sunday & Monday – Riverside
9:45 PM – 6:15 AM
Residential community patrol assignment utilizing a Southwest Patrol company vehicle.
REQUIRED AVAILABILITY
This is ONE POSITION consisting of all four shifts.
Friday + Saturday + Sunday + Monday
Applicants cannot select individual days or locations. If you are unable to work the complete Friday-through-Monday schedule, please do not apply.
Compensation
$21.00 per hour + $0.25 per hour reimbursement
Weekly Pay
Approximately 32 scheduled hours per week.
Job Responsibilities
The selected officer will be responsible for maintaining a professional and visible security presence at both assigned properties.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting regular foot and vehicle patrols
Checking designated locations and patrol points throughout each property
Taking photographs to document patrol activity and site conditions
Identifying and reporting suspicious activity, safety hazards, property damage, and other noteworthy matters
Completing clear and concise written narratives and daily activity reports
Following all site-specific post orders and Southwest Patrol policies
Maintaining communication with Southwest Patrol dispatch and supervision
Properly operating and maintaining the assigned Southwest Patrol vehicle while on duty
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet ALL of the following requirements:
Valid California Guard Card
Valid driver's license in good standing
Recent Powers to Arrest/Use of Force training certificate
Must be able to pass a drug screening
Reliable transportation to and from both assigned locations
Must be able to communicate fluently in English and Spanish
Must possess a duty belt with required security equipment
Hair must be neat, clean, and professionally groomed
Facial hair must be neatly maintained
No visible tattoos while in uniform
No excessive or offensive facial, head, or neck piercings
Must be available to work the entire Friday–Monday schedule
