Job Summary-
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including nursing homes and clinics. This role requires a strong understanding of patient needs, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities-
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor and record patient vital signs and health status.
Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities.
Implement aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
Conduct health coaching sessions to educate patients on wellness and disease prevention.
Assist in family planning consultations and support for patients.
Deliver specialized care for patients with dementia and behavioral health issues.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Utilize Cerner or similar electronic health record systems for accurate documentation.
Perform triage duties to assess patient needs effectively.
Requirements
Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice.
Strong knowledge of physiology and nursing principles.
Experience in infant care is a plus but not mandatory.
Previous experience in nursing homes or similar healthcare environments preferred.
Familiarity with behavioral health practices is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
