Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with a focus on providing high-quality nursing services in various settings, including assisted living and acute care facilities. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and ensuring the delivery of effective treatments while maintaining accurate medical records.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine individual healthcare needs.
Develop and implement personalized care plans based on patient evaluations.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including acute pain management and catheter care.
Monitor patients’ conditions and document changes in medical records using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management, including dementia care strategies.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including knowledge of workers' compensation law and durable medical equipment (DME) usage.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Experience
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Experience in acute care settings preferred; familiarity with assisted living environments is a plus.
Knowledge of anatomy, medical records management, and relevant healthcare regulations.
Proficiency in managing patients with dementia and understanding their unique care requirements.
Previous experience with pain management techniques is desirable.
