Position: Barista / Cashier
Location: 2701 N Main St. Lincoln Heights, ca 90031
Employment Type: Part-Time (Tue-Thurs 8:30am-2:30pm)
Hourly Rate: $18.50 per hour + Tips (Subject to change during quarterly performance review)
-Previous barista experience preferred
Job Responsibilities
As a Barista / Cashier, your responsibilities will include:
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty drinks, following DCC recipes and standards.
Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist with light food preparation, including snacks and pastries.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and enter them into the POS system.
Process cash, credit, and digital payments while providing correct change.
Educate customers on menu items, flavor profiles, and drink preparation methods.
Maintain strong knowledge of the menu and confidently suggest add-ons or featured items.
Handle customer questions or concerns professionally to ensure a positive experience.
Keep the front counter, register area, and seating areas (dining & patio) clean and inviting.
Assist with restocking inventory such as cups, lids, and other café supplies as needed.

Clean dining room restroom
Work Schedule
Your schedule will be based on business needs and discussed in advance. Flexibility, including weekends and holidays, may be required.
Employment Status
This position is at-will, meaning either you or DCC may terminate employment at any time, with or without cause or notice, in accordance with applicable law.
Training & Policies
You will receive on-the-job training. Employment is contingent upon compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards.
