Retail Operations Lead
Part-Time | Opportunity to Grow into Full-Time
Simple Laguna is a luxury men's and women's clothing boutique in the heart of downtown Laguna Beach. We are seeking a motivated, organized, and hands-on person to help oversee daily store operations and support the continued growth of the business.
This position begins part-time, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role with added responsibility, quickly for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional customer service and lead by example on the sales floor.
Maintain inventory accuracy, stock levels, and merchandise presentation.
Assist with inventory receiving, transfers, and restocking.
Monitor daily store operations and ensure tasks are completed to company standards.
Support and help enforce store policies, procedures, and operational expectations.
Prepare reports and communicate store performance, inventory needs, and operational issues to ownership.
Assist with opening/closing procedures and oversee daily workflow.
Learn and utilize Shopify POS and other store systems.
Qualifications:
Previous retail leadership, key holder, or management experience preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Self-motivated, dependable, and able to take initiative.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Tech-savvy and willing to learn new systems.
Weekend and evening availability required.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to provide documentation verifying employment eligibility as required by law.
