TUNA CUTTER
COMPENSATION: $20-$25 per hour
3rd shift required
JOB SUMMARY:
The Fillet Cutter is responsible for accurately and efficiently cutting, trimming, and preparing tuna to meet the company specifications and production goals. This role requires attention to detail, knife handling skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, cold environment.
JOD DESCRIPTION:
- Cut and portion tuna according to product specifications and customer requirements
- Inspect tuna for quality and freshness
- Remove bones, skin, bloodiness, and any undesirable parts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Ensure proper use and care of knives and cutting equipment
- Record production and waste data as required
- Communicate with supervisors regarding product quality or issues
- Support other processing tasks as needed
- Responsible for keeping track and maintaining standard yield % results
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cutting, preferably tuna, is highly desired
- Strong knife-handling and cutting skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a cold environment (around 20-40°F)
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Must be able to lift to 50lbs
- Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
