Production Assembler – Wire Harness / Cable Assembly - DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DONT HAVE RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Pay: $20.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM

Job Summary
The Production Assembler is responsible for assembling wire harnesses, cables, connectors, and related components according to drawings, route sheets, workmanship standards, and customer requirements. This position requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow written and verbal work instructions. On-the-job training will be provided as needed.
Essential Duties
Assemble wires, connectors, sleeving, labels, hardware, and other components according to drawings and route sheets.
Perform wire stripping, cutting, crimping, labeling, material preparation, and packaging.
Operate manual and semi-automatic crimping tools, wire cutting/stripping equipment, label printers, and other assigned production equipment.
Read and follow basic drawings, schematics, flowcharts, and assembly instructions.
Use measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers.
Work with fiber optic cables and related tools/processes when assigned.
Follow ESD procedures, workmanship standards, quality requirements, and established safety procedures.
Qualifications
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written work instructions.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn new programs.
Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring equipment.
Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 is preferred but not required.
Ability to perform detailed work accurately and consistently.

Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, bend, walk, reach, and frequently use hands to handle small components and tools.
Close vision and ability to adjust focus are required for detailed assembly work.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with a generally moderate noise level.
