Italian Burger & Grill is currently hiring reliable, responsible, and experienced team members for our food truck operation.
We are currently hiring for the following positions:
1. CASHIER
Responsibilities include:
• Taking customer orders and operating the POS system
• Communicating clearly and professionally with customers
• Handling payments and orders accurately
• Assisting with general food truck operations when needed
Requirements:
• Must be fluent in English and communicate clearly and confidently
• Must have strong customer service skills
• Must be responsible, punctual, organized, and able to work under pressure
• Previous cashier or food-service experience is preferred
• Must have flexible availability, including weekends and events
2. COOK / COOK-DRIVER
We are hiring experienced cooks for our food truck.
Driving is NOT required for every cook position. Applicants who have the qualifications and experience to drive our food truck may also work as a Cook/Driver.
WE ARE NOT HIRING FOR A DRIVER-ONLY POSITION.
Cook/Driver applicants must be able to perform all cooking responsibilities in addition to driving the food truck.
Cook Responsibilities:
• Food preparation before and during events
• Cooking and completing customer orders during service
• Maintaining food quality and consistency
• Keeping the kitchen and work areas clean and organized
• Following food safety and sanitation procedures
• Assisting with setup and breakdown before and after events
Additional Requirements for Cook/Driver:
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be comfortable safely driving a food truck or similar-size vehicle
• Must perform cooking duties during events. This is not a driving-only job.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Must have reliable transportation to the assigned work location
• Flexible availability, especially evenings, weekends, and event days, is required
COMPENSATION
Pay is based on position, experience, skills, and qualifications.
Each applicant will be interviewed and evaluated before a starting hourly rate is determined. Applicants with additional skills and responsibilities, including qualified Cook/Drivers, will be evaluated accordingly.
