Shipping, Production, and Warehouse Worker

PRO-LOK, a manufacturer & distributor of security door hardware tools and solutions, is seeking a Shipping, Production, and Warehouse Worker located in its manufacturing facility in Orange, CA. This position will report to the Warehouse/Production Manager.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Shipping, Production, and Warehouse Worker will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and accurate handling of materials and finished goods. This role involves a mix of packaging, production support, and warehouse duties, including operating a forklift to achieve company-specific results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safely operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
Box, package, and prepare finished products for secure shipping and distribution.
Pick, pack, and process outbound orders accurately according to customer specifications.
Receive, unload, and properly store incoming shipments and raw materials.
Assist the production team with assembling, staging, and transporting materials as needed.
Conform to company policies and procedures, including accurately counting parts and filling out required shipping/receiving paperwork.
Check and inspect packaged goods ensuring labels and measurements are accurate.
Clean and maintain the warehouse work area, floors, tools, and equipment as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic reading, writing, and math skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience safely operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
1+ years of experience working in a warehouse, shipping, or semi-automated manufacturing environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented and able to follow written and oral instruction.
Ability to communicate effectively with managers, leads, and team members.
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Must be in good physical condition, capable of lifting 50 lbs, and working on your feet for extended periods.
Must be able to pass E-Verify, a criminal background check, and/or pre-employment physical and drug screening.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Active or recent Forklift Certification.
Familiarity with shipping software or barcode scanning equipment.
Cross-training experience in light production or machine shop environments.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Compensation is based on experience, with a starting rate of $19 - $22/hr.
40-hour work week plus potential for overtime if desired.
Eligible for health, dental, and vision insurance.
3% match SIMPLE IRA.
