Collision Fix is a respected auto body and mechanic shop in Pacific Beach seeking a Full-Time Office Assistant / Estimator Assistant to join our growing team! We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong experience in the collision repair industry, specifically with the CCC Estimating System. This position will primarily assist our Lead Estimator while also providing support to the office team as needed. Job Responsibilities:
Assist the Lead Estimator with daily estimating and administrative tasks.
Utilize the CCC Estimating System for invoicing, repair planning, and estimate management.
Process and post invoices accurately through CCC.
Perform vehicle pre-scans and post-scans using an OBD2 scanner and document results appropriately.
Communicate professionally with insurance companies, vendors, and customers regarding vehicle repairs and updates.
Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized digital and physical records.
Assist with bookkeeping, organizing paperwork, inventory, and parts management.
Order parts as needed and process returns.
Maintain inventory records and create work orders.
Organize receipts, invoices, and repair documentation.
Assist other office staff with daily operations as needed.
Drive customer and company vehicles for pick-up, drop-off, or deliveries when necessary (valid driver's license and clean driving record required).
Work efficiently under pressure while meeting deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.
Multitask effectively in a busy office environment.
Take initiative to keep the office, front desk, and workspace clean, organized, and running smoothly.
Identify tasks that need attention without waiting for instruction.
Utilize shop management software and computer programs efficiently.
Job Requirements:
Mandatory Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience using the CCC Estimating System.
Previous employment in an auto body repair facility is REQUIRED.
Experience creating invoices and processing documentation within CCC.
Knowledge of OBD2 scanning procedures, including performing and documenting pre-scans and post-scans.
Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn shop management software quickly.
Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Professional communication skills with customers, insurance companies, and vendors.
Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Strong work ethic with a proactive, "go-getter" attitude.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Availability Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays as needed.
