Cardona Law Firm, APC is seeking a motivated, organized, and personable Part-Time Legal Assistant to join our growing plaintiff-side law firm. We represent individuals injured in personal injury and workers' compensation matters throughout California and pride ourselves on providing exceptional client service.

Position Details
Schedule: Part-Time (25–30 hours per week)
Compensation: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience
Location: Santa Ana, California
Primary Responsibilities
Request and retrieve medical records and billing from healthcare providers.
Maintain attorney and case calendars, including deadlines, depositions, hearings, and appointments.
Answer incoming phone calls and provide outstanding customer service to current and prospective clients.
Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status, appointments, and requested information.
Draft letters, emails, and other correspondence to clients, insurance companies, medical providers, and opposing counsel.
Organize and coordinate office meetings, events, and team activities.
Scan, upload, organize, and maintain electronic and physical client files.
Assist attorneys and staff with administrative and case management tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Must be fluent in both English and Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Friendly, professional, and compassionate demeanor when interacting with clients.
Ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable communicating with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and opposing counsel by phone and email.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel) and general computer applications.
Prior legal assistant or administrative experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with strong communication and organizational skills.
