Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Program Manager to support a large-scale, multi-year SAP S/4HANA Business Transformation initiative. This highly visible role will partner with Finance leadership, SAP/IT teams, and third-party implementation partners to drive enterprise-wide transformation efforts across Finance processes while ensuring alignment, governance, business readiness, and successful program execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead portfolio planning, governance, and execution for Finance workstreams within an enterprise SAP S/4HANA transformation.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives spanning Record-to-Report (R2R), Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Product Costing, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Consolidations.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, risk registers, and executive-level reporting.
- Partner with Finance leadership, Enterprise Process Owners, SAP/IT teams, and System Integrators to align business priorities with technical delivery.
- Drive business readiness activities including change management, testing, training coordination, and adoption planning.
- Identify and mitigate program risks while ensuring governance standards and project deliverables are achieved.
- Prepare executive presentations and steering committee materials while providing visibility into program health, milestones, and key dependencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 8+ years of project or program management experience, including 3–5+ years supporting SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA Finance transformations.
- Hands-on experience supporting enterprise Finance processes within SAP, including General Accounting (R2R), AP, AR, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Product Costing, and Financial Consolidations.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives involving Finance, IT, business stakeholders, and third-party implementation partners.
- Strong understanding of enterprise project governance, dependency management, risk mitigation, and business readiness.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
Preferred Background
- Experience working within large enterprise SAP transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of Finance operations and how Finance processes integrate across business functions.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority while driving alignment across multiple workstreams.
