Job Summary
As a server, you will provide exceptional customer service while complying with California labor laws and health standards. You will guide guests through our menu, take orders, deliver food and beverages, and ensure an enjoyable dining experience.
Job Requirements
Greet and accurately take and input guests' orders
Process payments
Ensure guests are served in a timely fashion
Ensure guest satisfaction through exceptional customer service
Provide refills, extra napkins, or other extra touches to enhance the dining experience
Maintain knowledge of restaurant menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to address guest inquiries
Suggestively sell food and beverages using our Steps of Service
Follow all alcohol service laws, including proper ID verification and responsible beverage service
Clear tables of dishes, tableware, and dirty napkins as needed
Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas of the restaurant
Run food and beverages for all staff
Adhere to CA labor laws, including meal break requirements
Job Expectations
Possess required certifications, such as California Food Handler’s Card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Work well with others, follow instructions, and do your part to make our entire team successful
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to communicate with guests, read the menu, and read ingredient labels and lists
Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Frequent bending, reaching, and stretching
