Wigz is looking for a reliable, hard-working Prep Cook to join our fast-paced team! We take pride in serving high-quality, scratch-prepared sandwiches, and our prep team is the backbone of our kitchen.
POSITION: Prep Cook / Prep Staff
LOCATION: Laguna Beach
TYPE: Part-Time
PAY: $18-20/hr + Tips + Free Shift Meals

WHAT YOU'LL DO
--------------------------------------------------
* Slice meats, cheeses, and fresh vegetables using commercial slicers and knives.
* Prepare house-made sauces, dressings, spreads, and batch-cooked items.
* Keep stations clean, sanitized, and fully stocked using FIFO inventory methods.
* Follow food safety guidelines and work closely with line staff during busy rushes.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
--------------------------------------------------
* 1+ years of prep cook or kitchen experience preferred.
* Solid knife skills and comfort with kitchen equipment.
* Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
* Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40-50 lbs.
* Valid Food Handler's Permit (or willing to get one upon hire).
