Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Make a Real Difference
Part-Time | Chula Vista | $17.75–$20/hr
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our residential team supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
Our program serves individuals with chronic health conditions and some behavioral challenges, and we are looking for team members who are patient, reliable, and motivated to create a positive environment for the people we support.
This role is ideal for someone who wants meaningful work and the opportunity to positively impact quality of life every day.
Position Details
• Location: Chula Vista
• Part-time
• Three different shifts available (morning, afternoon, overnight)
Responsibilities
• Support residents with daily living activities
• Assist with recreational and community activities
• Follow individualized care plans and behavior support strategies
• Maintain documentation and communication with team members
• Ensure the safety and dignity of the individuals we support
Minimum Requirements
• Clear criminal background check
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Negative TB test
• Reliable attendance and strong teamwork
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
• Experience with behavioral support
• Medication training or caregiving experience
• Spanish speaking a plus
$17.75 – $20 per hour
Pay is determined using a structured scoring system based on experience, training, and certifications.
