Serve All Help All, Inc., an established faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit homeownership preservation organization operating since 2007, is seeking an experienced Loss Mitigation Loan Processor to manage an active residential mortgage assistance pipeline.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a knowledgeable, organized and assertive processor who understands lender and servicer loss mitigation requirements and can move files from initial submission through approval, appeal, escalation or final resolution.
The selected candidate will inherit an existing pipeline and work with a support team that assists with document collection, client communication and administrative follow-up.
Primary Responsibilities
• Prepare, submit and manage complete loan modification and loss mitigation packages
• Communicate directly with borrowers, servicers, lenders, trustees and authorized third parties
• Track deadlines, document requests, acknowledgments, denials, appeals and trustee sale dates
• Identify missing documents and resolve submission deficiencies quickly
• Request and document trustee sale postponements when appropriate
• Escalate files involving imminent foreclosure activity or potential regulatory violations
• Maintain detailed processing notes and provide consistent status updates
• Review borrower income, expenses, hardship information and proposed workout options
• Assist with appeals, second-look reviews and escalated loss mitigation requests
• Deliver professional and compassionate customer service to homeowners facing foreclosure
Required Experience
• Minimum 3 years of recent hands-on loss mitigation or loan modification processing experience
• Strong knowledge of mortgage servicing and foreclosure timelines
• Familiarity with California Homeowner Bill of Rights requirements, including SB 900
• Experience handling files involving Notices of Default and Notices of Trustee Sale
• Ability to manage a substantial pipeline while maintaining accurate notes and follow-up
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to remain organized in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Comfortable speaking directly with servicers, escalation departments and foreclosure trustees
Experience with FHA, VA, conventional, non-QM, investor-owned or mortgage-backed securitized loans is highly desirable.
