Akhis Authentic Shawarma & Kebab is looking for dependable team members to join our kitchen. We are a fast-paced, family-owned restaurant focused on serving fresh, high-quality Middle Eastern food every day.
We're looking for someone who already has some kitchen or food service experience and enjoys working hard as part of a team.
Responsibilities include:
• Food prep (cutting vegetables, preparing ingredients, sauces, etc.)
• Cooking proteins and assembling customer orders
• Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
• Restocking ingredients throughout the shift
• Following food safety and sanitation standards
• Working efficiently during busy lunch and dinner rushes
What we're looking for:
• Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Weekend availability is a big plus
