Hot Rods & Custom Stuff, an auto shop in Escondido CA specializing in classic cars and hot rods (1920's-mid 1970's) is in need of an experienced service writer/parts associate. This position will include the following responsibilities:
*Developing and maintaining positive business relationships with customers through friendly disposition, efficient communication, and integrity
*Creating cost estimates including parts, labor times, and scheduling the most appropriate technician for the job
*Contacting customers in a timely fashion with any necessary updates
*Must have strong record keeping and inventory management skills
*Must have good telephone communication skills
*Ability to follow procedures consistently
* Proficient in basic computer operation and software (ie. Windows, Excel, Word, Quickbooks, etc.)
*Must be knowledgeable of classic vehicle systems and have the ability to effectively translate customer’s concerns into technical instructions
4x 10hr day schedule: Mon-Thurs 6am-5pm
