The Arc of San Diego is seeking a dependable and hardworking Landscape Laborer to support grounds maintenance operations at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Miramar, a military base San Diego. This temporary opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in maintaining professional landscapes, and have experience operating landscaping equipment.
-Responsibilities
Perform landscape and grounds maintenance duties, including mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, weeding, planting, raking, sweeping, and trash removal.
Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, blowers, weed trimmers, chainsaws, tractors, and other groundskeeping tools.
Load and unload equipment and supplies as needed.
Complete work assignments efficiently and maintain high-quality standards.
Maintain positive and professional working relationships with team members and customers.
-Qualifications
Minimum one year of landscaping, grounds maintenance, or related outdoor labor experience.
Experience operating landscaping power equipment and riding lawn mowers.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
