We are an established dental practice in Eastlake, Chula Vista, seeking an experienced Dental Insurance Billing and Collections Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of dental insurance billing, HMO and PPO plans, accounts receivable, aging reports, and collection procedures. We are looking for a dependable professional who is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing accounts efficiently from claim submission through final payment.
Qualifications:
• Previous dental insurance billing and collections experience required
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and CDT codes
• Experience working with both PPO and HMO dental plans
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable and aging reports
• Familiarity with claim denials, appeals, narratives, EOBs, and attachments
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional and courteous when communicating with patients and insurance representatives
• Ability to work independently, prioritize accounts, and follow through consistently
• Experience with DENTRIX dental practice-management software preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
