Role: Lead residential interior designer responsible for managing all project phases, developing custom designs, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Oversee design process from kickoff to completion, collaborating with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Develop finish palettes, select FF&A, and create detailed interior construction documents using AutoCAD.
- Maintain accuracy and artistry in design and documentation, producing presentation materials.
- Visit construction sites and vendor showrooms, review shop drawings, and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Present designs to clients, build trusting relationships, and lead project teams effectively.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 7 years of experience in interior design or architecture, with at least 4 years in luxury residential new construction.
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design; NCIDQ certification preferred.
- Strong design aesthetic aligned with the firm’s style, proficiency in AutoCAD LT, Adobe InDesign, and familiarity with Photoshop and Studio Designer (a plus).
- Excellent communication, leadership, delegation, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
