Position: Construction Safety & Compliance Manager
Location: Anaheim, CA
Duration: Approximately 13 Weeks
Schedule: 2–3 Days Per Week
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Safety & Compliance Manager to support a commercial construction project in Anaheim. This is a temporary contract position for approximately 13 weeks. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with OSHA compliance, OCIP projects, jobsite safety, and construction documentation.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine jobsite safety walks and inspections.
Perform new worker safety orientations.
Ensure OSHA compliance throughout the duration of the project.
Administer and maintain OCIP safety requirements and documentation.
Develop, implement, and maintain Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs).
Conduct and document toolbox talks and safety meetings.
Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate with project management, superintendents, subcontractors, and the general contractor regarding safety requirements.
Maintain all required safety records, inspections, and compliance documentation.
Assist with incident reporting and investigations, if necessary.
Promote a proactive safety culture across the project.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of construction safety management experience.
Experience working on commercial construction projects.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
Experience with OCIP projects preferred.
Experience preparing and managing Site-Specific Safety Plans.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and professionally with project teams.
Ability to speak Spanish.
Required Certifications
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification.
Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Certifications
CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician).
CSP (Certified Safety Professional).
