HIRING: GRADING FOREMAN / HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
Advantage Grading & Engineering, Inc. is a respected small grading company in Temecula, CA, looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team in a dual Foreman/Heavy Equipment Operator role. Our projects focus primarily on Southwest Riverside County and San Diego County.
This is an immediate opening for a motivated and safety-conscious professional with a proven background in earth moving and site development.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Serve as Foreman, leading small teams and ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Operate a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators, dozers, loaders, scrapers, skip loaders, and skidsteers.
Perform rough and sub-grading with precision. Experience with fine/finish grading, and laser set up and use is highly desirable.
Read and interpret directions and construction plans to determine project specifications and ensure conformity.
Perform routine pre-and post-operation maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
Ensure all job site operations adhere to environmental, health, and safety regulations (OSHA 10 certification preferred).
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in the grading and civil construction industry.
Demonstrated Foreman experience or strong leadership ability to manage field operations and personnel.
Expert-level knowledge of earth moving, grading techniques, and safety procedures.
Experience operating major equipment brands.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
