YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT
Based out of our NYC corporate office and reporting to the Wholesale Director, the Account Executive role is accountable for growing Celine’s wholesale business through partnership with leading department stores and specialty stores. This expected timeframe of this temporary contract is one year from August 2026-August 2027.
This includes reviewing existing and potential distribution opportunities, managing market periods, post market activities and retail performance. The wholesale team works in close collaboration with planning, merchandising, logistic team and finance to deliver business goals.
YOUR IMPACT
- Maintain and cultivate strong relationships with both Major and Specialty accounts across the US while supporting Men’s and Women’s shoes and RTW business.
- Update and analyze fiscal and style selling on a weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis to identify opportunities to drive business
- Maximize sales through correct seasonal buys to ensure assortments are well balanced and represent company strategies
- Analyze shipping/tracking of delivery flow weekly, to ensure seamless process to accounts
- Manage in-season assortment changes, coordinate markdowns, returns and product exit and support in preparing market week materials
- Drive and present in seasonal market appointments, store product knowledge clinics and events
- Drive order entry and closing of orders 6x year for Men’s and Women’s Buying Sessions to ensure seamless order process in partnership with Sellers. This includes Processing/entering notes & orders after buying session, sending order receipts & order confirmations to clients, reviewing orders and timely communication of cancellations
- Participate in budget forecasts and achieve agreed sales targets.
- Understand account product needs and build specific assortments by-door/region with buyers/management during market while ensuring a productive assortment is allocated
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of competitors and their strategies
- Build relationships with buyers, department and specialties stores through daily communication
- Partner with VM on activations

Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years Fashion Buying or Wholesale experience in a premium/luxury environment.
- Advanced comprehension of department stores, specialty boutiques and American retail trends. Established relationships and contacts a plus.
- Strong analytical, written, verbal skills and firm understanding of retail math
- Strong communication skills both internally and externally, able to respond effectively to both client and division needs in NY and Paris.
- Thorough knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Skypad and Joor
- Dynamic presentation and Problem-Solving skills.
- Supervisory/management skills
- Excellent organizational skills and keen eye for detail.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of time, if necessary, domestically and internationally.

The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
