Location: Monrovia, CA (In-Office)
About the Role
We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join our team. You will create visually compelling designs for our festival brands across digital and print media. This role spans traditional graphic design and web design, so you should be equally comfortable building a landing page mockup in Figma as you are preparing a print-ready poster in Illustrator. You'll collaborate closely with the design team and other stakeholders to ensure our branding and messaging are effectively communicated across every touchpoint.
Responsibilities
- Develop creative concepts and design assets for promotional materials including posters, flyers, banners, social media graphics, digital advertisements, merchandise, and event signage.
- Design and maintain web assets including landing pages, email templates, and website graphics, ensuring a cohesive experience from ad click to ticket purchase.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes in Figma for web and digital projects, and collaborate with the development team on handoff and implementation.
- Work closely with the marketing team to understand project objectives, target audience, and messaging requirements.
- Translate marketing goals into visually appealing, cohesive designs that align with each festival's brand identity.
- Maintain design consistency across all platforms, mediums, and festival brands.
- Handle multiple concurrent projects across markets and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
- Collaborate with printers and other vendors to ensure quality and accuracy of printed materials.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in graphic and web design.
Requirements
- Demonstrated web design experience (landing pages, email design, or website graphics) — please include web work in your portfolio.
- Proficiency in Figma for web/UI design, wireframing, and prototyping.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; experience with the broader Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creativity, design skills, and attention to detail across both digital and print work.
- Knowledge of printing processes and specifications (bleeds, color profiles, file prep).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to take feedback and iterate quickly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
