God is opening the door for a unique ministry to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The You’re Invited Initiative is launching a Bible-centered church where adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities can worship, understand God’s Word, build authentic friendships, and grow as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.
By God’s grace, we have already secured our meeting location at the beautiful TERI Campus of Life in San Marcos, California, and a small but committed congregation of families and volunteers waiting and preparing for our launch. We are prayerfully seeking the man God is preparing to serve as our Founding Pastor. We are an incredibly fun and loyal bunch of people.
Our Doctrinal Convictions
We are seeking a male-only pastor whose convictions are consistent with conservative, evangelical theology, including:
• The Bible as the inspired, inerrant, and sufficient Word of God.
• Salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone.
• Expository, verse-by-verse biblical preaching.
• A high view of the local church and the Great Commission.
• A dispensational understanding of Scripture, including a pre-tribulation, premillennial view of Christ’s return.
• Strong support for God’s covenant purposes for Israel.
• A commitment to biblical discipleship, shepherding, and servant leadership.
This is not simply a pastoral opening—it is an opportunity to help establish a Christ-centered church for a community that has too often been overlooked. We are trusting the Lord to provide the shepherd He has already prepared in His perfect timing.
