Role Description The Architectural Designer will contribute to the development of design concepts, produce detailed drawings, and support project documentation from early planning through construction. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing architectural plans and construction drawings, assisting with urban and site planning studies, coordinating design details with project team members and consultants, and participating in client and internal design meetings. The role involves researching materials and systems, integrating sustainable and human-centric design principles, and ensuring that design solutions align with project requirements and local regulations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development and space planning.
- Candidates should possess skills in Construction Drawings and technical Drawing for the preparation of accurate, buildable documentation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Urban Planning and site analysis to support context-sensitive, human-centric design solutions.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite) is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field is preferred.
- Strong visual communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a studio environment are important.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices, building codes, and permitting processes is advantageous.
- Interest in working on diverse project types and engaging with the cultural and physical context of Miami and other locations is valued.
