About the Rol
eAs the FP&A Manager for Supply Chain Finance, you will act as a vital strategic partner across the Mars Snacking North America (MSNA) supply chain network. In this role, you will take ownership of financial reporting, advanced data analytics, and performance monitoring. Your primary objective will be to drive consistency, process efficiency, and accountability across all forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities
.You will report directly to the Director of End-to-End (E2E) Supply Chain Finance and work alongside a collaborative, cross-functional team
.Key Responsibilitie
- sBusiness Partnering: Deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations to optimize supply chain spend. Build strong relationships and partner closely with Supply Chain Finance leaders and the core MSNA FP&A teams
- .Financial Analysis & Reporting: Analyze complex financial datasets to uncover trends, identify budget variances, and pinpoint opportunities for cost improvement. Own the executive-level financial reporting processes to support critical operational decision-making
- .Forecasting & Budgeting: Oversee end-to-end financial planning processes for supply chain finance, taking a leadership role in driving both the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Integrated Value Chain Planning (IVCP) cycles
- .Data Integrity & Process Efficiency: Ensure the absolute accuracy and governance of financial data across all reporting systems. Proactively seek out and implement best practices to make reporting workflows more efficient
.Position Requirements & Qualification
- sEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a closely related quantitative field
- .Experience: 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in Finance or Accounting, featuring a minimum of 3 years spent in a dedicated business partnership or corporate FP&A role
- .Industry Knowledge: Prior experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or manufacturing industry is highly advantageous; otherwise, a remarkably high learning agility is required
- .Technical Skills: Deep understanding of corporate financial planning, accounting operations, and budget consolidation. Highly detail-oriented with a proven track record of synthesizing complex data into clear executive presentations
- .Core Competencies: Strong strategic agility and business acumen. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority in a fast-paced, evolving environment
.Work Structure & Schedul
- eDuration: This is a 6-month contract assignment with potential for extension based on business needs and performance
- .Work Model: Hybrid. Candidates must be local to or willing to commute to either the Newark, NJ or Battle Creek, MI offices. Specific in-office days will be determined upon onboarding
