A Nursing Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in supporting patient care within Adult Day Care settings. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Nursing CNA assists with daily living activities, ensures patient comfort, and promotes a safe, hygienic environment to enhance patient well-being.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care and assistance with hygiene and daily activities
Support patient mobility and help prevent complications from immobility
Maintain accurate documentation of patient status and care delivered
Implement infection control and safety compliance protocols
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care
Ensure a safe environment to minimize risks and promote patient well-being
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of clinical areas in accordance with infection prevention and control standards.
Ensures common areas remain clean, organized, and well-maintained each day to provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for participants, staff, and visitors.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in patient care
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Basic patient care skills
Strong patient communication abilities
