Haru Head Spa is a busy and growing head spa in Kearny Mesa, and we are looking to add licensed technicians to help expand our availability.
We are currently looking for someone who is available to work weekends, with weekday availability as a plus. We are aiming to cover about 3 shifts per week to start, with the opportunity to increase to full-time, 5 shifts per week, as your books begin to fill.
Dependability and reliability are very important for this position. We are looking for someone who takes their schedule seriously, shows up on time, communicates professionally, and is committed to providing a consistent experience for our clients.
This can also be a great opportunity for someone who is currently working as a cosmetologist, hairstylist, or barber. Since we do not offer traditional haircuts, color, barbering, or styling services at our spa, there may be an opportunity to cross-market your services to our clients while also introducing your current clients to Haru Head Spa.
Our services are higher-ticket spa services, so you will have the opportunity to work with clients who are already investing in premium self-care and wellness experiences.
Requirements:
Must have a valid cosmetology, barber, or hairstylist license
Weekend availability required
Weekday and evening availability preferred
Looking to start with approximately 3 shifts per week
Opportunity to grow into 5 shifts per week as your client bookings increase
Must be dependable, reliable, punctual, and professional
Experience with shampooing, scalp massage, hair care, or spa services is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person
Pay & Training:
Paid training period, typically around 2 weeks depending on your availability and how quickly you learn our techniques
Paid minimum wage during training
$25/hour once cleared to take clients
100% of tips go to you

Haru Head Spa es un spa de cabeza ocupado y en crecimiento ubicado en Kearny Mesa. Estamos buscando agregar técnicos con licencia para ayudarnos a expandir nuestra disponibilidad.
Actualmente estamos buscando a alguien que esté disponible para trabajar los fines de semana, con disponibilidad entre semana como ventaja adicional.
