Shared Services: IS App Technical Services- (Full-Time, Day Shift) -
Job Summary: The IS Change and Release Deployment Coordinator coordinates the lifecycle of all LLUSS IS system changes. Is responsible for development and implementation of strategies and procedures supporting day-to-day activities for change management. Leads change advisory boards, perform change management services, and provide team oversight and guidance to ensure process adherence with LLUSS approved change process, methods, procedures, and standards. Supports and orchestrates release and deployment activities surrounding Epic Upgrade and Updates. Manages components of release management process. Performs other duties as needed.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management or related discipline required. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Minimum three years of experience in creating, implementing or contributing to change management strategies for systems implementations in large organizations, information systems application support, software development, and/or release management required. Minimum two years of experience in using ServiceNow or other ITSM platform required. Experience with ITIL v3 or v4 change management, release management, deployment management and preferred. Experience in working in an Epic or other EHR platform environment preferred. Experience in supporting HiTrust or other audit processes preferred.
Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of information systems change and release management standards, methodologies, and alternatives for differing requirements. Strong knowledge of change control practices, ITIL Change Management concepts and standards. Knowledge of generally known information technology platforms and standards, release and deployment processes. Knowledge and use of ServiceNow or other ITSM software in managing and supporting change, release and deployment processes, standards and procedures. Broad knowledge and understanding of computer hardware, applications, network, and operating systems. Knowledge of server-based environment management strategies. Knowledge of Epic Data Courier function, healthcare clinical and revenue cycle workflows and standards. Use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position. Strong knowledge of project management software such as MS Project, Access, and other project management tools for task tracking and team collaboration efforts. Able to organize technical work; demonstrate excellent planning, problem solving, analysis, documentation, presentation and organization skills; analyze and interpret data, processes and needs based on limited information; organize work and resources; define problems and solutions, prioritize work load; make recommendations; manage time effectively. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; lead, teach, and collaborate; accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in English. Able to deal effectively with people and elicit support from other department areas, vendors, and customers. Excellent analytic, communication, and documentation skills. Think critically; work independently; perform basic math and statistical functions; manage multiple assignments; compose written material. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.
Licensures and Certifications: Industry standard change management certifications, such as Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) or equivalent certification preferred. ITIL v3 or v4 certification preferred. Epic training and certification preferred.
