Zov's San Clemente is hiring a Lead Host to help run our front-of-house!
Zov's is a California Mediterranean restaurant group known for fresh, seasonal food and a warm, welcoming guest experience. Our San Clemente location is one of our newest and busiest, and we're looking for a Lead Host who can set the tone at the door and help guide our host team.
What you'll do:
Greet and seat guests, manage the waitlist, and keep the flow of the dining room moving smoothly
Take reservations and manage OpenTable
Train, coach, and support the host team on standards and pacing
Communicate closely with servers and management to balance sections and timing
Handle guest questions, requests, and concerns at the door with a calm, welcoming attitude
Help open and close the host stand, including cash/comp procedures if applicable
What we're looking for:
Prior hosting experience required; leadership or trainer experience preferred
Strong organizational skills and the ability to think ahead during high-volume shifts
Friendly, professional, and guest-focused demeanor
Comfortable managing a waitlist and setting expectations with guests
Reliable availability including weekends and evenings
OpenTable experience a plus
