Mid to Senior level Oracle Database Administrator position to perform sustainment (O&M) support of numerous operational databases. Must be knowledgeable in Oracle RDBMS 11g - 12c, with Oracle Database Appliance skills being a plus. Candidate should be a self-starter and have strong communication skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage multiple Oracle databases on a variety of operating systems, including Test, Staging, and Production environments
- Ensure backup and recovery tasks are configured, tested, and monitored
- Perform performance evaluations and enhancements, working with customer teams to implement
- Ensure critical data is protected using Oracle Transparent Data Encryption (TDE)
- Manage Oracle Data Guard environments to keep all databases in sync
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of seven years working with Oracle technologies, including versions 11g through 12cR2
- Prior experience working with the DISA STIG process
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other related field
- Secret or higher clearance
- Security+CE
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Amazon AWS or other cloud technologies
- Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12c or 13c
