Position: Arterra Full Time Restaurant Supervisor
Schedule: Evenings, Weekends, and Holidays
We are seeking a professional, energetic, and guest-focused Full Time Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys creating memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced, upscale environment. You are responsible for leading dinner service, ensuring smooth restaurant operations, maintaining guest satisfaction, and supporting financial and labor goals.
What You'll Do:
Guest Experience:
-Deliver exceptional guest service and ensure hospitality standards are consistently met.
-Resolve guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
-Monitor dining room ambiance, cleanliness, and presentation throughout service.
-Engage with guests to build loyalty and encourage repeat business.
Team Leadership:
-Supervise servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, and food runners during PM shifts.
-Conduct pre-shift meetings covering menu features, specials, VIP guests, and service expectations.
-Coach employees on service standards and provide real-time feedback.
-Assist with onboarding and training new team members.
-Foster teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
Restaurant Operations:
-Oversee the execution of dinner service to ensure efficiency and quality.
-Coordinate communication between the front and back of house.
-Ensure proper table pacing, seating flow, and reservation management.
-Monitor food quality, beverage presentation, and service timing.
Financial Management:
-Monitor labor costs by adjusting staffing levels based on business volume.
-Assist in achieving revenue, beverage sales, and profitability goals.
-Review guest checks for accuracy and minimize discounts and voids.
-Help control operating expenses and reduce waste.
Food Safety & Compliance:
-Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
-Verify adherence to responsible alcohol service policies.
-Maintain compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.
-Conduct safety and cleanliness inspections throughout the shift.
Inventory & Supplies
-Monitor restaurant supplies and communicate replenishment needs.
-Ensure side stations, bars, and service areas are fully stocked.
-Assist with beverage and supply inventories as assigned.
Administrative Duties:
-Complete shift reports and communicate operational updates to leadership.
-Document guest incidents, employee issues, and maintenance concerns.
-Ensure accurate cash handling and end-of-shift reconciliation when required.
-Verify completion of opening and closing checklists.
Qualifications:
-Previous management experience preferred (hotel or upscale restaurant a plus)
-Excellent guest service and communication skills
-Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
-Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
-Must have a valid Food Handlers Card and RBS certification.
