Help build the operating system behind a growing FinTech SaaS company.
Dragonfly Operating Partners is seeking a seasoned startup operator to partner directly with the founder as a Fractional COO. This is not an advisory role. We're looking for someone who thrives on execution, accountability, and helping a growing software company consistently make better decisions.
Location: Tampa Bay, FL (in-person only; local candidates). No remote.
Commitment: 20–40 hours/week (approximately 50–100% fractional).

What You Will Own
• Serve as the founder's operational partner and day-to-day integrator.
• Run operating cadence, priorities, KPIs, and accountability.
• Keep engineering, product, and customer success aligned.
• Drive execution while preventing unnecessary work and poor prioritization.
• Improve forecasting, resource allocation, and operating discipline.
• Help shape product decisions through business impact.
• Manage spending discipline and operational efficiency.
• Provide trusted leadership for founders and investors.
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate is a hands-on startup operator who naturally functions as an Integrator. You are comfortable saying "no" to founders when needed, bringing order to ambiguity, and translating vision into execution. Mortgage experience is helpful but not required; startup operating experience is.
Required Experience
• Startup SaaS leadership experience
• COO, CEO, GM, VP Operations, RevOps, or similar executive leadership
• Experience leading cross-functional teams including engineering
• Strong execution and accountability mindset
• Financial and operational discipline
• Ability to challenge founders constructively
Preferred Experience
• FinTech or mortgage technology
• Seed through Series B startups
• Former founder or CEO
• Product strategy partnership
• Fundraising or board exposure
• EOS or similar operating systems
