Stinger is seeking a Senior Director of Supply Chain & Logistics. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of purchasing, supply chain, procurement, and logistics in support of Stinger's network of distribution centers, including ownership of demand planning and forecasting across the network. This position requires an operations expert with experience leading global purchasing teams. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking leader with deep expertise in global supply chain strategy, demand planning, financial management, and data-driven decision-making. This position reports to the VP of Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic planning and execution of global supply chain, purchasing, procurement, and logistics activities across the distribution network.
- Own global demand planning, forecasting, supply planning, and inventory targets in partnership with Sales and Operations to balance service levels, margin, and working capital.
- Provide financial leadership for supply chain operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, cost impact analysis, capital planning, and long-range financial strategy.
- Lead development and implementation of SKU portfolio management processes to optimize inventory performance and operational efficiency.
- Oversee purchasing strategy, supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, supplier performance, risk management, and disruption response.
- Develop and implement digital supply chain tools, systems, and processes to improve data visibility, decision-making, and responsiveness to material demand.
- Ensure purchasing, logistics, procurement, and supply chain activities comply with local, national, international environmental, customs, trade, and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and enforce ethical sourcing and procurement policies, including supplier adherence to fair labor practices, human rights standards, and environmental sustainability expectations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Operations teams to align supply chain capabilities with product strategy and market demand.
- Build and lead a high-performing team through clear goals, accountability, coaching, and talent development.
- Own customs and trade compliance, including HTS classification, duty management, and the use of customs bonds and bonded warehouses, to optimize landed cost and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements:
- Strong understanding of product development and engineering processes, with demonstrated ability to collaborate with technical teams throughout product design, sourcing, supplier selection, and launch execution.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and tools
- Expertise in global supply chain strategy, sourcing, logistics, and inventory optimization within a multi-site or global environment
- Understanding of logistical requirements to supply multi-site operations
- Ability to negotiate global vendor contracts
- Strong competence in decision making
- Executive-level communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and stakeholders
- Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities; experience with ERP/MRP systems required
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree (MBA or related) preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics, including senior leadership roles in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Experience leading global teams and managing international supply chain operations
- Experience with NetSuite is preferred.
- Experience with Netstock is preferred.
- Experience with Amazon Seller Central preferred.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has one direct report and may supervise Asia based consultants.
Environmental/Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Travel:
25% travel – must have a valid passport and ability to travel internationally quarterly
