Hey San Diego! We’re Metro Wholesale SD, a local grocery, beverage, cleaning & laundry wholesaler, and we’re looking for a driven outside sales rep to join our team.
We want a true relationship-builder who loves being out in the field. You will be focusing on our absolute best customers: independent grocery stores, mom-and-pop shops, local mini-markets, and laundromats.
How the job works:
You don’t start from zero. We’ll hand you an initial list of active, purchasing stores right out of the gate. Your job is to visit them weekly or bi-weekly to take orders and keep them happy.
You also get to hunt. Along with managing those current accounts, you’ll be out knocking on doors to bring in new business and grow your territory.
We give you a massive edge. You get to walk into any store and offer them no minimum order quantities and next-day delivery. It’s a huge selling point that makes closing deals a whole lot easier.
Let's talk pay:
This role pays a small base salary plus an uncapped commission based directly on a percentage of the total revenue you bring in. The sky really is the limit here. We don't post the exact pay numbers online—we'd rather sit down with you in person, see if we're a good fit, and build a compensation package that makes sense for both of us.
