The City of Sheridan Information Technology Division is currently recruiting for a
reliable, self-motivated and customer-service driven individual to fill the position of IT
Analyst. This position provides Tier 2/3 technical support, assists with systems
administration, evaluates and improves business technology processes, and supports
implementation of new software and infrastructure solutions

**MAJOR DUTIES**
- Evaluate current business processes and IT systems to identify areas for improvement in service delivery through IT solutions.
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
- Lead or assist in the rollout of new software applications, system upgrades, and migrations.
- Maintains and supports workstation, server, and network hardware and related systems.
- Create and maintain technical manuals, system configurations, and user guides for internal staff
- Coordinate with external vendors for hardware procurement and software licensing
- Remains informed of changing industry standards and best practices. Performs related duties.
**KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED BY THE POSITION**
- Knowledge of software installation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of basic hardware installation techniques.
- Knowledge of the installation, maintenance and repair of a variety of peripheral devices
