Catering Chef / Production Cook
**Pay:** $25 to $30 per hour DOE
**Monday through Friday. No nights. No weekends (except occasional catering events).**
Green Leaf Catering & Events is looking for an experienced, dependable Catering Chef / Production Cook to join our team in Scripps Ranch
We are a growing café and corporate catering company serving businesses throughout San Diego. We are looking for someone who takes pride in preparing quality food, works well independently, and enjoys being part of a small, professional team.
Responsibilities
• Execute recipes with consistency and attention to detail
• Prepare café breakfast and lunch menu items
• Produce catering orders and large batch recipes
• Organize daily kitchen production
• Package catering orders accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards
• Receive and rotate inventory using FIFO
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of professional kitchen experience
• Catering experience is a plus
• Experience with a variety of cuisines preferred
• Strong knife skills and food preparation techniques
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• Positive attitude, reliable, and punctual
