X Outdoor Lighting is a San Diego landscape lighting company doing high-end residential and commercial installs. We're growing and looking for a senior installer who can run jobs on their own.
This is not an entry-level role. We need someone who understands low voltage systems — transformer loads, voltage drop, feeder runs — and can walk onto a job site and lead it without hand-holding. You'll be the senior presence in the field, responsible for install quality and helping develop a junior technician.
What the role looks like:
– Lead installs from start to finish
– Maintain quality standards on every job
– Mentor and work alongside a junior tech
– Communicate professionally with clients when needed
What we're looking for:
– Hands-on landscape lighting installation experience
– Solid understanding of 12V low voltage systems
– Reliable transportation and your own tools
– Someone who takes the craft seriously
Pay: $28–$40/hr depending on experience + mileage reimbursement
