Manager Financial Reporting
Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The position is responsible for the month end closing process including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements prepared in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP) for the affiliated entities of AtlantiCare. This is accomplished through strong oversight and development of the accounting staff, development and evaluation of accounting controls and procedures. The Manager is responsible for accurate reporting and interpretation of financial information to the Director of Finance – Financial Reporting and Management. The Manager works directly with daily banking activities, plant ledger and grant‑related financial reporting, and works closely with external auditors during the annual audit of the various organizations’ financial statements. A strong working knowledge of financial systems and reports is required.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in Accounting required.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Certified Public Accountant or Masters Degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 4-6 years financial experience required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Potential exposure to hazards and risks of the hospital environment, including exposure to infectious disease, hazardous substances, and potential injury.

This position reports directly to the Director of Finance.

Benefits may vary based on position and are subject to eligibility requirements.
Pay Range: $70,172 - $122,802 per year.
