Role Description The SVP Sales Textiles is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Charlotte, NC, responsible for driving revenue growth and leading the sales strategy for the company’s textile product lines. This role oversees the sales team, sets performance targets, and ensures effective sales operations and forecasting aligned with business objectives. The SVP will cultivate and expand relationships with key retail partners, lead high-level account management, and identify new business opportunities in existing and emerging markets. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing sales plans, analyzing market and customer data, collaborating with design and merchandising on product positioning, and aligning pricing strategies with financial goals. The role also requires mentoring sales professionals, improving sales processes and tools, and representing our Company at customer meetings, industry events, and strategic negotiations.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Sales and Sales Management, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in textiles, home goods, or related consumer products.
- Proficiency in Account Management, including building, maintaining, and growing strategic relationships with large retail partners.
- Experience in Sales Operations, such as forecasting, pipeline management, territory planning, and optimization of sales processes and tools.
- Proven ability in Business Development, including identifying new market opportunities, leading complex negotiations, and launching growth initiatives.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams in a fast-paced, wholesale or retail-focused environment.
- Advanced analytical and communication skills, including comfort with retail POS data, pricing analysis, and presenting insights to executive stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the textile or home fashion industry, including product lifecycle, merchandising practices, and retailer requirements, is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Charlotte, NC, travel to customer locations and industry events as needed, and collaborate effectively across design, merchandising, and operations teams.
