Position Summary
The BIM Specialistis responsible for leading and supporting Building Information Modeling (BIM) efforts for complex infrastructure projects. This role plays a critical part in developing, implementing, and maintaining BIM standards, coordinating and advancing digital delivery strategies across project teams. The ideal candidate brings expertise in Autodesk Revit and a proven track record delivering high-quality BIM solutions for treatment facilities and utility systems.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and maintain detailed BIM models for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, pipelines, and related infrastructure.
Lead or support the development and enforcement of BIM standards, workflows, and best practices for project delivery.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure accurate model coordination and integration across multiple disciplines.
Support digital delivery strategies.
Oversee model quality control, ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and client BIM execution plans.
Prepare and manage BIM deliverables, including drawings, schedules, visualizations, and digital handover models.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to future junior BIM and design staff.
Act as a technical liaison with clients, contractors, and third-party stakeholders regarding BIM execution and digital workflows.
Stay current with emerging BIM technologies, Autodesk platform updates, and digital delivery trends within the water sector.
Required Qualifications
2+ Years of BIM modeling experience, with a strong focus on water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Experience working with owners, EPC teams, and construction partners on model-driven delivery is a plus.
Ability to Produce and Review 2D drawings from the BIM Drawings
Advanced expertise in Autodesk Revit; experience with Civil 3D, Navisworks, and related Autodesk tools a plus.
Demonstrated experience leading or supporting BIM standards and digital delivery strategies.
Strong understanding of utility systems, piping, and site infrastructure.
Ability to manage complex models and datasets across multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
