We are partnered with an established restaurant group seeking a strong Multi-Unit Operations Leader to oversee 10-20 locations across the Washington, DC market. This individual will be responsible for driving operational execution, team development, guest experience, sales growth, and profitability across the market.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multi-unit restaurant leadership, with the ability to lead General Managers, improve performance, maintain brand standards, and create accountability across multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations across 10-20 restaurant locations in the Washington, DC market
- Lead, coach, and develop General Managers and store-level leadership teams
- Drive sales, profitability, labor management, cost controls, and operational execution
- Review P&L performance and implement action plans to improve results
- Maintain high standards around guest experience, food quality, cleanliness, speed of service, and team performance
- Partner with senior leadership on company initiatives, training, staffing, and market growth
- Build a strong bench of future leaders through hiring, coaching, development, and succession planning
- Ensure consistency across locations with company standards, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Identify operational gaps and create clear plans to improve performance across the market
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of multi-unit restaurant leadership experience
- Experience overseeing multiple restaurant locations, preferably within fast casual, café, coffee, polished casual, or full-service environments
- Strong understanding of P&L management, labor control, cost controls, sales building, and operational execution
- Proven ability to lead General Managers and develop high-performing teams
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable being hands-on in the field while also managing market-level strategy
- Must be based in or able to commute throughout the Washington, DC market
Preferred Background:
- Experience supporting 10+ locations or a high-volume multi-unit market
- Background in fast casual, café, coffee, breakfast/lunch, or polished restaurant concepts
- Experience with new store openings, training, or market development is a plus
