The Role:
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who's early in their IT career and ready to grow fast. As our IT Support Technician, you'll be the go-to person for keeping our team's technology running smoothly and more importantly, you'll be the friendly, knowledgeable face that our team turns to when they need help.
You'll learn how a global tech-driven business operates from the inside, build real hands-on experience across hardware, software, and networks, and make a genuine difference to the people around you every day. Based in our New York City office, you'll be the dedicated on-site IT presence supporting our Executive team and broader NYC staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hardware & software: help set up and manage employee devices, ensuring new starters have everything they need from day one.
- Helpdesk & support: be the first point of contact for IT queries — resolving issues efficiently and keeping colleagues informed throughout.
- AV & meeting rooms: keep conference rooms and AV equipment in great shape so meetings run without a hitch, including Google Meet room setup and Executive presentation support.
- Training & enablement: Help colleagues get comfortable with the tools they use every day, including macOS, Google Workspace, and security best practices.
- Asset management: maintain accurate records of IT hardware, software licences, and subscriptions.
- Networking: support basic network troubleshooting across WiFi and LAN, escalating to senior team members where needed.
- Events support: provide technical support for company events and presentations, including streaming and AV setup.
- Executive support: provide responsive, professional white-glove IT support to the Executive team, with a high standard of discretion and reliability.
- Documentation: keep process notes and runbooks up to date so knowledge is shared and nothing lives in just one person's head.
What we’re looking for :
- Technical Foundation: Hands-on experience with macOS and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Meet, and Admin Console basics) — whether through work, study, or your own curiosity. Familiarity with Slack and identity tools such as Okta for basic user provisioning and access requests is a plus.
- Networking Basics: A working understanding of WiFi, LAN, and general connectivity concepts, including experience troubleshooting in an office environment.
- Communication: The ability to explain tech clearly and patiently to people who aren't technical — this is just as important as the technical skills themselves.
- Problem-Solving: A logical, methodical approach to diagnosing and working through issues.

Compensation
We offer competitive compensation designed to attract and retain exceptional talent. In support of pay equity and fairness, the expected annual base salary range for this role is: $65,000 – $70,000 USD. Final compensation may vary based on experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
