IT Infrastructure Analyst - Data Networking (Cisco)
Position Summary
The IT Infrastructure Analyst - Data Networking is responsible for supporting and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure with a focus on Cisco technologies. This role ensures reliable, secure, and high-performing network operations across a multi-site environment, with emphasis on edge networking, routing, switching, and SD-WAN.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on networking professional with strong troubleshooting skills and experience supporting production environments. Experience within a healthcare setting is a plus due to the need for high availability and compliance-driven operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain Cisco-based network infrastructure including routers, switches, and edge devices
- Configure and troubleshoot routing and switching across enterprise environments
- Provide operational support for edge networking and WAN connectivity across multiple locations
- Assist with the implementation and support of SD-WAN solutions
- Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity
- Perform incident response, root cause analysis, and issue resolution
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams
- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard procedures
- Support network upgrades, patches, and hardware refresh initiatives
- Follow change management and operational best practices
- Participate in on-call support and after-hours maintenance as required
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise network environments
- Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies
- Strong knowledge of:
- Routing & Switching
- TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs
- WAN/LAN networking
- Edge network operations
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Cisco SD-WAN
- Industry certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent)
- Experience in a healthcare environment
- Familiarity with compliance-driven or highly regulated environments
- Exposure to network security concepts (segmentation, ACLs, secure access)

Work Environment
