IT Support Engineer
We’re currently working with a leading MSP looking to hire a 2nd / 3rd Line IT Support Engineer to work onsite with one of their global hedge fund clients in New York.
This is a hands-on support role within a fast-paced financial services environment, supporting users across desktop, endpoint, Microsoft 365, networking and business-critical technology.
The successful candidate will be technically strong, confident supporting senior users, and comfortable taking ownership of issues from initial diagnosis through to resolution.
Role Overview
Location: New York
Working Model: 5 Days Onsite
Salary: Up to $140,000 Basic
Key Experience Required:
- Strong 2nd / 3rd line IT support experience
- Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting
- Entra ID / Azure AD and Active Directory
- Intune, SCCM or equivalent endpoint management
- Windows 10 / 11 desktop and laptop support
- Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
- Networking fundamentals, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs and Wi-Fi
- Hardware, software and peripheral troubleshooting
- Meeting room, AV and Teams Rooms support
- User onboarding, access management and device builds
- Strong ticket ownership and escalation handling
- VIP, executive or senior stakeholder support
Financial services, banking, hedge fund, trading or asset management experience is strongly preferred.
This role would suit someone who is proactive, technically capable and comfortable working in a high-performance environment where reliability, communication and attention to detail are essential.
